32,000 QAR/month in Qatar = Rich?

Not if you sign without reading the package.
Real case:
→ Candidate A - IT Manager → 35,000 QAR + allowances → 3-year savings: €52,000
→ Candidate B - Same role, same company → 28,000 QAR + full package → 3-year savings: €184,000
The difference? 3 lines in the contract.
Candidate A negotiated the salary.
Candidate B negotiated the package.
What nobody calculates:
→ "Provided" accommodation (3-bed villa) = 12,000 QAR/month real value
→ "Housing allowance" of 9,000 QAR = 3,000 QAR deficit if you have a family
→ Education "covered up to 50,000 QAR" = you pay the 25,000 QAR difference
→ 2 business class tickets/year = your spouse pays theirs (7,000 QAR)
Result over 36 months:
→ The fine print costs more than the base salary.
→ My advice after 170+ placements:
Before accepting, ask ONE question:
◉ "What's the real cost of MY life in Doha with this offer?"
◉ If you can't calculate it, you lose €50,000 to €150,000 over 3 years.
☑︎ A strong package turns an average salary into wealth.
☑︎ A weak package turns a big salary into regret.
